Blanton Contracting was selected for the project based on 65% design plans and a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). From there, our team worked closely with the owner, design partners and permitting officials to maintain momentum and move the project into construction as quickly as possible. Within just two months, we completed the remaining design work, finalized the construction contract, secured the necessary permits, coordinated early procurement and broke ground. This accelerated preconstruction process minimized the risk of additional delays and allowed critical work to begin before inclement weather could affect the schedule.
Through consistent communication and disciplined project management, the team maintained progress, resolved issues efficiently and delivered a facility that met the department’s operational, financial and scheduling requirements.
